Homemade Hummus

Vegan!

Ingredients
few cups cooked chickpeas, drained
1/2 cup tahini
few tsp salt, pepper, garlic powder
2 Tbsp nutritional yeast
few Tbsp aquafaba (the leftover water from cooking the chickpeas)
2 Tbsp lemon juice

Step by Step Instructions
  1. First, soak your chickpeas overnight.
  2. In the morning, rinse and drain the chickpeas, then add water and boil & simmer till tender.
  3. In a food processor or blender, pulse all ingredients into a purée, adding aquafaba as needed to maintain a smooth consistency
  4. Season to taste & enjoy! Pairs well with bread and veggies (:
